Looking For Others Like Me

Everywhere I go, I'm looking for other people with the same struggles I have. One thing that has helped me is when my mom tells me about actors who have shared their stories of struggle with Dyslexia. It's a proven fact that if kids see people who look or act like them doing what the kid aspires to do, it makes it more likely for the kids to "make it". According to Web MD, here is a list of highly creative people with Dyslexia: Henry Winkler (I love his books and the stories he tells about his life!) Jennifer Aniston Steven Spielburg Jay Leno Danny Glover Keira Knightley I'm sure that there are so many more out there. I'm always looking for others like me.

The Unseen Side of Me

Hello. My name is Charlotte. I am 11 years old and I love acting. My mom started this blog for me so I can have a place to express myself and my desire to be creative. My mom is typing this because 1) I'm a kid and it's easier for her to type than me 2) Spelling is super hard for me. There are a many things to get to know and love about me but let's get this one off the table. I'm Dyslexic.
